TAVERN ON THE GREEN, CENTRAL PARK —

Gift Shop Cashier & Salesman

July 2025 - Current

In the gift shop I am responsible for a variety of roles. I man the register–checking out items as guests require. I am able to readily provide guests with information about the history of the restaurant itself, as well as the products within the store, through my own research, and information given to me by my supervisor. As the gift shop cashier, I am the only employee on staff and working–I organize all of the displays in the store, and unpack all shipments being delivered.

To-Go Counter Position

March 2023 - January 2024

My primary role was to greet guests, serve drinks and food in a timely manner, while maintaining friendly conversation; restocking when items in the fridge ran out; and keeping order when the park was in peak hours. Additionally, I kick-started the implementation of a digital payment method that greatly benefited me and my fellow employees in terms of efficiency and the tipping process.

BABYSITTING —

May 2020 - Current

I care for children ranging from ages four to fourteen. My role is to entertain them while remaining responsible and aware of their physical and emotional needs. I cook simple, nutritious meals that are easy for children to enjoy while remaining healthy. I play a range of games, from very physical activities like running around and playing tag, to mellow activities like drawing or board games. In addition to play, I also help with homework assignments, and keep them engaged and learning.
